CONTROL COMMUNICATION CABLES

NEK Kabel Control Communication Cables are specifically designed and manufactured for challenging environments, including petrochemical refineries, offshore platforms, maritime accommodations, and approved remote offshore windfarms. Emphasizing the utmost reliability in these critical applications, these cables boast inherent fire retardant properties and provide fire resistance options. Compliant with the robust IEC 60092-359 standards governing offshore and shipboard cables, they guarantee high-performance excellence in marine and offshore settings. Engineered to endure harsh conditions such as saline atmospheres, UV radiation, extreme temperatures, hydrocarbons, oils, and drilling fluids, these cables prioritize safety and reliability. Notably, these cables are fire-retardant IEC60332, effectively curbing the spread of fire, emitting minimal smoke, and producing no toxic gases in the unfortunate event of a fire outbreak; and IEC 60331 fire resistant properties designed to function in a fire, ensuring the integrity of vital circuits applications.

NEK Sealine Control Communication Cables include various industrial BUS protocols such as ProfiBUS, CANBus Hybrid, CANBus, Devicenet, Fieldbus-H1, AUTBUS, RS422 and RS485. Due to the high transmission rate and data flow, standard data cables are not sufficient anymore. Bus Cables are used for the digital signal transmission between sensors and the corresponding display units. These cables are specially designed for important closed and open architectures and industrial Ethernet communication technologies, IP-based industrial fieldbus technologies, network-based field controller technologies, cloud based industrial controlling server technologies, network-based controlling precise time/clock technologies, control message communication security technologies.

Additionally, the RMRS certified NEK Sealine Control Communication Cables are manufactured in adherence to its stringent standards, specially designed for challenging cold conditions. These cables exhibit remarkable resilience against both cold and fire, featuring improved attributes for cold impact, cold bending, and cold elongation. This not only heightens the safety of workers but also streamlines termination processes in exceedingly low temperatures, specifically tailored for ice-breaking vessels.

To guarantee harsh environments dependability, NEK Sealine Control Communication Cables are manufactured with a diverse selection of optional armouring’s. These mechanical enhancements serve as a robust shield, protecting the cables against unforeseen damage, rodent interference, ballistic impact, moisture, and the rigors of installation operations.

NEK Kabel’s Sealine cables are certifed by various classifications bodies such as Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd (DNV-GL), Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS), and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), etc, and its diverse cable solutions serve major EPC operators, shipyards, owners, automation firms and top oil companies worldwide (such as Staoil, Aker, Kongsberg, Prosafe, Shell, Sonangol, Saudi Aramco, Exxon Mobil, Qatar Petroleum, Total Energies, Chevron, BP, ADNOC, Marathon Petroleum, Dana Gas, Kuwait Petroleum, Novatek, Woodside, BHP, Gazprom, Valero Energy, PetroChina, Cosco, Equinor, Petrobras, etc), worldwide across 5 continents.

MUD
The NEK 606 mud resistance outer sheathing material is resistant to drilling fluids at drilling platforms.

ARMOURED
It is further mechanically enhanced with galvanised steel wire braiding (GSWB) construction providing protection against accidental damage, rodents, ballistic impact, moisture, and laying operations.

It is further mechanically enhanced with tinned copper wire braiding (TCWB) armouring construction providing protection against accidental damage, rodents, ballistic impact, moisture, and laying operations.

FIRE RESISTANCE
Additionally, this cable is fire-retardant IEC60332, effectively curbing the spread of fire, emitting minimal smoke, and producing no toxic gases in the unfortunate event of a fire outbreak; and IEC 60331 fire resistant properties designed to function in a fire, ensuring the integrity of vital circuits applications.
